⚽🏆 Manors Y8 Boys Football Match Report ⚽🏆
The Manor Academy Y8 boys football team made an excellent start to the new school year with a convincing 5–0 victory in the Teesside County Cup.
From the opening whistle, the boys showed excellent energy, determination and ...team spirit. They worked tirelessly for one another, moved the ball with confidence and created plenty of attacking opportunities. Despite Egglescliffe’s best efforts, Manor continued to apply pressure and were rewarded with five well-deserved goals.
Tommy B was the standout scorer, completing an impressive hat-trick. Jack S and Reuben D also found the back of the net to round off a strong team performance.
The Players’ Man of the Match award was presented to Julian A for his excellent contribution to the team, on his debut no less! Whilst Tommy B was selected as the Teachers’ Man of the Match following his three-goal performance.
A brilliant performance from the whole squad and a fantastic way to begin the year. The boys should be extremely proud of their effort, attitude and teamwork!
