🤩 I am delighted to launch our Class of 2027 History Heroes competition! By being onboard, your child has the chance to win some fantastic prizes in return for their hard work. The idea behind this competition is to recognise students who are going above and beyond to get the best outcomes that ...they deserve. 🤩

How it works is this:

Every time a student demonstrates that they are putting in effort outside of lessons, they will earn a certain number of raffle tickets, depending on what they have done. They will put their name on the raffle ticket and put it in a box clearly labelled within the History department. The more raffle tickets that they have, the more likely they are to win prizes.

Every week there is a Year 11 assembly, during which raffle tickets will be drawn out of a box - that student can then choose from a ‘lucky dip’ prize.

During this assembly, the weekly MVH (Most Valued Historian) award and certificate will be given, allowing a specifically chosen student to also have a draw from the Lucky Dip Prizes.

At the end of every half term, a raffle ticket draw will be held for the larger prizes.

Lucky Dip prizes include: Chocolates and Sweets (allergen friendly); Perfumes (for boys and girls); Revision and Stationary materials (for boys and girls).

Larger prizes may include: Sambucas vouchers, Nandos vouchers, Greggs vouchers, Vue Cinema vouchers, Hartlepool Football Ticket vouchers, Love 2 Shop Vouchers, Morrisons vouchers, Prom Nail vouchers, and more.

📖🤩 Yesterday we were extremely fortunate to have a book signing and author visit from Dan Freedman (author of Unstoppable and Golden Goal + many more) 📖🤩

Students were able to listen to him speak and read an extract from his book, followed by a book signing!
