Northern Education Trust Manor Community Academy would like to express its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ben Catchpole, a Year 10 student who sadly died on 24 May 2020.

Ben was an extremely likeable young man within Manor Community Academy and his presence will be greatly missed. He was a very popular student in his year group and was well liked across the wider school by both students and staff. Ben was a very bright young man, who had great potential to achieve his dreams. He thoroughly enjoyed participating in sport and had big plans for the future as he wanted to serve in the army.

Staff and students are shocked and completely devastated at the incredibly sad news of his death, and our heartfelt condolences and support go to Ben’s family and friends.  An online Book of Condolence is being set up for Ben, and further details of this will be published shortly.
