Northern Education Trust Manor Community Academy hosted an online movie night to welcome their upcoming Year 7s on Friday 14 May. Using a local company, the academy produced a video clip which gives students a taste of what their first day at Manor Academy will be like in September.

To make an event of the Year 6 Welcome Night, Manor Academy posted home movie night boxes to each of the students. Each contained a welcome card from principal, Lee Kirtley, a movie ticket inviting them to the event and a range of other goodies such as sweets and popcorn boxes for all the family to enjoy whilst they viewed the movie together.

We hope all of the Year 6 students had a great evening viewing the video and that they are looking forward to transitioning to Manor Community Academy in the autumn term.
