Raising awareness of the threat of County Lines activity
The National County Lines Coordination Centre (NCLCC) have released a County Lines Awareness Video.
County Lines is a term used to describe gangs and organised criminal networks. The video, created by NCLCC, aims to ensure everyone can understand the threat of County Lines and criminal activity on children and vulnerable young people and the signs to look out for.
The NCLCC was set up to create a national approach to tackling organised criminal networks across the country, which use coercion, control and intimidation to exploit children and young people to be involved in criminal activity. Through raising awareness, NCLCC hope to break down barriers and put a stop to the exploitation of young people.
