Manor Community Academy celebrates GCSE results 2026
Northern Education Trust Manor Community Academy celebrates GCSE results.
Students at Northern Education Trust Manor Community Academy, one of 17 secondary academies sponsored by the trust, have achieved some of their best ever GCSE results, building on the amazing achievements of last year.
The academy has also secured a record-breaking number of strong passes (Grade 5+) in English and maths. An amazing 52% of students overall achieved a strong pass in English and maths, while 72% achieved the grade 4+ pass in English and maths.
There were some outstanding individual successes:
- Oliver G achieved three grade 9s, including English and maths, four grade 8s and one grade 7
- Alfie M achieved five grade 9s, including English and maths, one grade 7, one grade 6 and one grade 5
- Mathew H achieved two grade 9s, three grade 8s, including English and maths, and three grade 7s
Steven Jones, Principal of Manor Community Academy thanked the students and staff for their efforts and commitment, saying: “This is another excellent set of results for Manor Community Academy. The students have worked extremely hard to achieve at these levels, with some students having overcome difficult barriers to do so. I’d like to thank the staff for their continued passion for ensuring our students succeed – these results are testament to their energy and enthusiasm for helping our students achieve the very best from their education.”
Adam Palmer, Executive Principal of Manor Community Academy added his praise, saying: “We’re delighted by these results, which are testimony to the vision of the trust to enhance the life chances of the young people in our care. My thanks and congratulations go to all students and staff for their incredible efforts.
